IN CELEBRATION OF AOIFE BEARY

We, as a Parish together, are heartbroken as news has broken of the death of Aoife Beary, one of the survivors of the Berkeley tragedy on June 16th 2015 and a parishioner with us here in Foxrock. We offer our support and our love to her parents Angela and Mike, her brother Tim, sister Anna, to her wider family and to all who knew Aoife. We stand together in solidarity with her family in this terribly sad moment. We ask that each of us take a moment over the coming days to pray for Aoife, her family and their incredible bravery over the past six years.
On THURSDAY NIGHT 8pm – 1am Foxrock Church will be OPEN for a vigil for Aoife. There will be music, silence, compassion and understanding. Everyone is welcome… We will stand together, as always.
Sincerest condolences to all the family. May she Rest In Peace and be with her friends in heaven

I’m so sorry to hear about Aoife’s passing and send so much love to all those near and dear to her. I first met Aoife when she came to Restore for her second year OT placement, and I had the opportunity to work with her as her practice educator. She was such a wonderful, loving, and sweet person. An absolute inspiration with so much drive, motivation, and determination. She had a wonderful sense of humour, and an absolutely amazing positivity to life. She will be so missed. Sending thoughts to her family and friends at such a sad time.

Dear Angela – I remember the strength you showed in those early days after the tragedy when everyone hoped that Aoife would return to health and be able to lead a normal life. Sadly for you and your family this was not to be and I offer you my deepest sympathy and prayers. As a friend said to me on my daughter’s death “she has gone back to the source of love” – so it is with Aoife.
