WELCOME TO FOXROCK PARISH

The Parish Community of Foxrock is a welcoming community of faith guided by the Holy Spirit and centred in God’s Word and the Eucharist. Through the Sacraments, prayer and stewardship over God-given gifts, we are called to minister with respect and compassion to all. We commit ourselves to the mission of Jesus Christ, to proclaim His Gospel and to love one another as He has loved us.

Every Easter we hold our annual appeal for Sr. Winifride, formerly principal in Loreto College Foxrock, and her fellow Loreto Sisters in Peru. They live in Jicamarca, once a shanty town, but after their decades of work, now deemed one of the “Pueblos Jovenes” (developing communities), although they are still bereft of even basic infrastructure and marginalised for healthcare and education.  The sisters spend their lives feeding the hungry and working with local children on their education. We cannot express or truly understand the depth of their need. As a Parish we ask you to please give whatever you can. Every cent counts towards clean water, medical care, food, the very basic needs of life. You can leave an envelope in the Church Safe clearly marked “Peru”or donate HERE through our fully secure “GoFundMe” page or by clicking on the image above.
Thank you.

RESPONSE TO UKRAINE CRISIS

Parishes have been contacting the Archdiocese with offers of possible accommodation for Ukrainian refugees. The Irish Red Cross has launched an online portal where offers of accommodation can be submitted. We have been in touch with the Irish Red Cross for further details.  Please get in touch with Íde Finnegan (ide.finnegan@dublindiocese.ie) or Patrick Nelson (patrick.nelson@dublindiocese.ie) with any queries.
