FOXROCK PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL
What is a Parish Pastoral Council?
At the direction of the Archbishop in 2005 all Dublin Parishes were asked to form a Parish Pastoral Council. The Foxrock Parish Pastoral Council – PPC – is an active group of 13 parishioners who review, debate and make decisions on all issues concerned with the development of Foxrock Parish. The Council works closely with all the Parish Team and central to its role is advising Fr. Frank in the overall running of the Parish.
This group is charged with building our Parish Community in line with our core Christian ideals. We are honoured to play a part in the development of our Parish and take this responsibility seriously.
What Does Our Parish Pastoral Council Do?
The work of the Parish Pastoral Council is exciting and varied. From discussing a range of topics at our monthly PPC meetings (such as approving new programmes to run in the Parish, deciding upon and resolving Parish related issues and supporting Parish community events and development) to engaging with the various groups and communities within the Parish and the Pastoral Area Group… We are a highly active Council on your behalf!
