CHILD PROTECTION

Foxrock Parish has had a fully functional Child Protection Policy Statement since 2007 which is accompanied by a Code of Behaviour for all persons involved with children and young people. All persons who volunteer to work under the auspices of the parish are required to be vetted by the Garda. This is a formally documented process. The priests of the parish are also subject to this requirement.

There are two child protection offers in the parish. They operate in this capacity on a voluntary basis. They are Carol Dillon and Mary Leane. They can be contacted through the Parish Office, tel. 01 289 3492 or by email at foxrockchildsafeguarding@gmail.com.

The Designated Person for the Dublin Archdiocese is Andrew Fagan, Director of the Child Safeguarding and Protection Service. The Service may be contacted on tel. 01 836 0314. Their website address is www.cps.dublindiocese.ie.
